Turns out only a thousand people bought one which is lucky, but now the test crashes that were suppressed by the government show that the batteries can cause dangerous fires. In the US the commercials say it goes 35Miles on a single charge but in Canada I saw a commercial that said it went as far as you want? I have a small solar panel that sits on my dash when I'm not driving because my car has a power drain somewhere and if left a few days it wont start without a boost. This made me wonder... Say for the Nissan leaf that requires no gas and pure electricity, how long does it take to charge up if its out of battery?
