I'm just curious, why do we even attempt to make electric cars like the Chevy Volt. Almost all of our power grid is ran by gasoline powered turbines i don't really see the plus to even inventing them we're just using gas indirectly. similar to how locomotives work, would that type of drive system setup be very efficient? also, similiar to the setup in the chevy volt, but without the batteries. would the gas mileage be better with an engine running at a more constant speed?... Read More »

Can we charge several million electric batteries daily?? IF by chance it works, and I do have doubts, wouldn't it cause massive increase on electrical demand at out power generation facilities?
